About TIDE WORKS:
TIDE WORKS was started 2012 by Julia Hederus, and started as a collaboration with the architect Teres Selberg. The name covers a range of freelance projects that include both architecture, furniture and fashion.

SVT is currently showing the documentary about Noko Jeans, a film by Maria Ramström. I worked with Noko Jeans during 2008 and we developed the first jeans ever made in North Korea. If you want more substantial reading and visuals from the trip, the design, the work; then I recommend you to go to www.nokojeans.com. There you will find the true story told by the founders. If you want a fast hit of the whole thing, watch the documentary that has a slightly more narrow angle, and a lot less of North Korea, but still quite entertaining.

These jeans are customized with gneiss stone powder, a certain norwegian gneiss called Rosenskära in light pink. The inspiration was construction and building sites. The jeans has small wingnuts as rivets. Featured in the last Aplace magazine. Photo Mathias Sterner.

New hat and costume design for Glasser, a New York based singer who recently released the beautiful album “Ring”. She is featured in the March issue of danish music magazine Soundvenue.
